- Analyze and process complex medical malpractice claims, developing action plans for timely resolution
- Conduct full investigations of claims and legal actions, providing detailed reports
- Negotiate claim settlements up to designated authority level and recommend settlement strategies
- Coordinate legal defense, managing attorney assignments and monitoring compliance with client guidelines
- Identify and investigate opportunities for fraud, subrogation, and recovery to reduce claim costs
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management or related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high‑pressure environment
- Proficient in computer keyboarding and ability to travel as required
- Successful completion of a background credit check for security clearance
- Experience in medical malpractice claims or professional liability
- Proven track record of negotiation and settlement strategies
- Familiarity with cost containment techniques and vendor partnerships
