Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the assigned adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing both first and third-party claims
  • Handle simple to moderate auto liability claims involving injury for unrepresented and attorney-represented claimants
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Manage communications and make coverage determinations regarding claims
  • Negotiate settlements and present cases in committee settings when seeking authority beyond the established limits
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • 2-3 years of claims experience
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups and volunteering
  • Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings and events
