Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Act as the owning adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing claims with a settlement limit of up to $25,000
  • Handle simple to moderate first and third-party auto liability cases involving injury
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate decisions to customers
  • Manage claims productivity by seeking assignments through the claims system
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to type 30 words per minute
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty claims experience
  • Bilingual abilities
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
  • Willingness to travel as needed for role-related meetings
