Sr. Claims Specialist; Remote

• Handle higher-complexity and severity claims, including litigation and coverage disputes
• Establish and maintain timely and accurate communication with all parties involved in claims
• Analyze coverage and prepare necessary documentation, including coverage letters and reservations of rights
• Conduct thorough investigations into claims, including contact with policyholders, witnesses, and experts
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims within granted authority while ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience; trucking experience preferred
• Complies with state adjuster licensing requirements, with licenses to be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• College degree or relevant experience

• AIC, CPCU, or other industry designation preferred
• Experience in the insurance industry with a focus on claims management
• Familiarity with claim regulations and laws in applicable jurisdictions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor and coach team members
