Assistant Account Manager (100% Remote) – DHW Insurance Brokers

Join the dynamic team at DHW Insurance Brokers as a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly empathetic Assistant Account Manager. This 100% remote role provides crucial support to Account Managers in client account tasks and back-office management. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a strong sense of urgency in resolving member issues.
  • Assist Account Managers with various tasks.
  • Manage back-office operations, including training and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Handle certificates, endorsements, loss runs, MVRs, and cancellations.
  • Process billing inquiries and follow up on non-payment issues.
  • Ensure timely issuance of renewal certificates and Auto .
  • Maintain accurate records with strong adherence to documenting and naming standard procedures.
  • Utilize a strong follow-up system to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Take detailed notes and actively listen to understand client needs.
  • Provide backup support to team members as needed.
  • Assist with document communication and respond promptly to emails, calls, and mail.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on account activities and potential issues.
  • Mentor other assistant account managers and contribute to personal and organizational development.
Requirements
  • Active California Property and Casualty insurance license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Construction background a plus.
  • Highly empathetic with strong active listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
  • Strong note‑taking abilities and adherence to documentation standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong follow‑up system.
