• Manage complex Cargo claims with varying degrees of severity and time-element exposure
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with all stakeholders involved
• Analyze policy language and make appropriate coverage decisions based on loss facts
• Establish and maintain accurate loss and expense reserves throughout the claims process
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve claims processes and outcomes

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property and casualty (P&C) insurance
• Proven expertise in handling commercial Cargo claims and significant coverage matters
• Must secure and maintain necessary state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment

• Previous experience in a customer service role or related field
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in the insurance industry
• Ability to obtain independent adjuster’s licenses for multiple states within 90 days of hire
