• Manage and resolve complex insurance claims disputes related to Disability (STD, LTD, Leave) products
• Investigate appeals and prepare necessary legal documentation to support claims
• Review claim files to assess the appropriateness of prior adverse claim decisions
• Provide feedback on claim handling processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Respond to regulatory and presidential complaints as required

• Prior claim handling experience in fully and self-insured STD, LTD, and State Leave lines of business
• Experience in appeal handling, including writing decision letters
• Experience in complaint handling, including regulatory and presidential complaints
• Proficiency in contract review and interpretation
• Strong letter writing skills

• Experience with FINEOS software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Power Point
