Senior Insurance Analyst

• Conduct administrative and substantive reviews of insurance filings to ensure compliance with Arizona insurance laws and regulations
• Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure compliance with state record retention laws
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external contacts regarding insurance practices and regulations
• Prepare and process filings for external review by outside vendors, including managing billing and invoicing
• Participate in division meetings to discuss ongoing matters affecting the division

• Expert knowledge of Arizona and Federal insurance laws and regulations
• Minimum educational requirement:
  Relevant experience in the insurance field or college degree in business administration or public administration
• Proficiency in technical and business writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage tasks effectively

• Familiarity with insurance terminology and functions of a state insurance department
• Demonstrated abilities in collaborative interactions on technical subjects
• Experience with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) SERFF system
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite applications, and Adobe
