- Evaluate insurance applicants and determine the acceptance, modification, or decline of applications based on risk assessment
- Complete wing-to-wing underwriting decisions, including data entry of medical history and processing cases
- Handle additional underwriting requirements and finalize cases efficiently
- Adhere to schedules and meet all productivity, quality, and performance standards
- Build relationships internally and externally through effective communication
- 7-10+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience with proven proficiency in underwriting processes
- Ability to handle advanced decision-making authority without a co-signature for amounts of $2.5 million or higher
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop specific goals, plan, and prioritize work
- Bachelor's Degree
- BGA and Trial Experience Preferred
- Completion of LOMA 280/281 and 290/291; actively working toward AALU, FLMI, and FALU designations
