Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Benefits Account Manager
, based in the Rock Hill, SC area with work-from-home flexibility. The Benefits Account Manager will nurture day-to-day client relationships, deliver exceptional consultative service, and provide strategic guidance on employee benefits programs for both prospective and existing clients.

The Benefits Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our clients receive proactive, strategic benefits support. This isnot a day‑to‑day transactional service role—it isfocused on marketing benefit programs, negotiating renewals, and delivering a polished, professional experience from start to finish.
You will work closely with Producers to manage both new and renewal business, lead strategic benefits discussions, and participate in client‑facing meetings throughout the year. Your ability to anticipate client needs, collaborate internally, and bring forward thoughtful solutions will be essential.
We are seeking someone with the experience and confidence to step in quickly, fill critical gaps, and support the continued growth and retention of our benefits book. The ideal candidate brings deep employee benefits knowledge, strong technical skills, and a mindset focused on improvement—without ever losing sight of the client relationship.

Qualifications- Minimum3+ years of employee benefits account management experience
- Strong knowledge of group health, ancillary, and voluntary benefit programs
- Proficient in AMS software - Applied Epic a plus
- Proven ability to manage renewals and ongoing service for mid‑sized to large employer groups
- Ability to manage a consistent workload in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment without sacrificing quality
- Deadline‑driven with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Forward‑thinking and solutions‑oriented, proactively anticipating client needs
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
