• Underwrite new and renewal business for life sciences accounts across multiple lines of coverage including products, professional, and cyber
• Assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions in accordance with company guidelines
• Document underwriting decisions and communicate coverage options during the quoting process
• Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross‑selling additional products
• Collaborate with colleagues to address complex issues and support overall agency management

• Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in small or middle market life sciences
• Strong knowledge of professional lines, cyber, and products liability
• Proficiency in property and casualty coverages and underwriting principles
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills
• Sales‑oriented mindset with the ability to negotiate and close accounts

• Experience with complex life sciences accounts
• Proven track record in business development and agency management
• Additional certifications related to underwriting or insurance
• Familiarity with current insurance technologies and tools
• Prior experience in a collaborative team environment
