Insurance Technician - Veterinary-Focused; Remote

Overview

The AVMA Technician provides technical insurance support to the Account Coordinators, Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, Client Relations Representatives, and clients by performing a range of renewal and policy‑related tasks.

• Maintain and update the log of all renewal PIS business within the team in Quote Tracker and Synergy CRM.
• Send renewal solicitations to existing clients in a timely manner to facilitate successful renewals of PIS policies.
• Determine the proper renewal tract with carriers for each policyholder.
• Handle communication with insurance carriers throughout the renewal process.
• Create Pearl‑branded quote documents and payment instructions for all PIS renewals.
• Review and process money mail orders for renewal business, checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Sort mail, index scanned mail, and distribute to the appropriate underwriter if necessary.
• Issue policies and process invoices to ensure payments to carriers are on time and in full.
• Provide mid‑term servicing of policies, including cancellations, reinstatements, and endorsements.
• Facilitate communication with carriers regarding policy and coverage questions during and after the renewal process.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and provide feedback on process improvements.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some insurance knowledge and/or coursework preferred (e.g., INS
  21, INS
  22, or INS
  23).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
• Experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Hourly: $18.00 – $18.00
