Job Description
National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation. We offer home, auto and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products. This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.
PositionAuto Damage Estimator responsible for writing accurate and timely auto repair estimates while delivering a high‑quality service. Requires strong time management, proficiency in CCC ONE estimating software, and keen attention to detail. Preferred candidates are located in Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities- Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Licensing RequirementsIndividuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment. Adjuster candidates holding a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team.
