Workers' Compensation Claims Professional

Pay: $80-120K DOE

A respected and long-standing Alaska organization is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Professional to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong claims management experience, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client support.

This position will play a key role in managing workers' compensation claims from start to finish while ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and professional communication with all parties involved.

• Manage workers’ compensation claims throughout the full claims lifecycle
• Investigate claims and determine compensability
• Communicate with physicians, employers, employees, carriers, and other involved parties
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and records
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with Alaska workers’ compensation regulations and requirements
• Provide excellent client service and ongoing support throughout the claims process
• Utilize claims management software and maintain organized case files

• Background in claims handling, claims management, or insurance
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation processes and employee benefits
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and manage multiple priorities
• Experience working independently while also collaborating with a team
• Familiarity with Alaska workers’ compensation regulations preferred
• Previous claims-related experience highly preferred
