Job Summary

Investigates, determines liability, confirms coverage, establishes damages, negotiates settlement of claims, and maintains an active adjuster’s license where required.

• Investigate and assess property damage, confirm coverage, and determine liability.
• Estimate repair or replacement costs, evaluate subrogation potential, and initiate salvage sales.
• Negotiate settlements, maintain accurate reports, and make payments within authorized limits.
• Communicate with policyholders, investigators, repair facilities, and other stakeholders.
• Report theft, fraud, and arson losses to relevant agencies; adhere to safety and compliance standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn about insurance policies and property damage.
• Outgoing personality with ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
• Valid driver’s license; successful motor vehicle record background check required.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology.
