Job Description

Take on a pivotal role in handling complex automobile claims, where your expertise makes a meaningful impact for customers during critical moments. In this position, you will thoroughly investigate losses, evaluate coverage and liability, and assess damages with accuracy and care. Leveraging your strong analytical and negotiation skills, you’ll manage claims within your authority, working toward fair and timely resolutions that support both the customer experience and business outcomes.

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise of discretion and independence within an increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), reviews, evaluates, and negotiates basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understands other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and determines how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

Compensation offered for this role is 56,000. annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
