RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II (KS Virtual)

Zurich is seeking an RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II who will work from a home-based office in Kansas. This role requires 40 hours per week with approximately 50% travel within a 100‑mile radius of the Kansas counties of Cheyenne, Decatur, Graham, Greeley, Logan, Rawlins, Scott, Sheridan, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace, and/or Wichita.

• Complete field inspections and related tasks with minimal supervision, including reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields and storage bins, and discussing crop loss findings with farmers.
• Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct fact‑finding regarding crop damage, record information, and transmit loss data to determine potential indemnities.
• Gather relevant facts using applicable law, establishing basic principles of negligence.
• Complete claim reviews and audits of lower‑level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain legal compliance by keeping a strong working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory.
• Physical ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25‑50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Experience providing technical training to other crop professionals.

Hourly rate: $23.66 – $33.89, with an incentive bonus of up to 5%.
