Job Summary

National General seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster for its Take Loss No Policy Bodily Injury Unit. The role involves investigating and confirming facts of basic automobile accident claims, determining coverage, liability, and damages, and adjusting claims within authorized limits.

• Investigate auto claims covering coverage, liability, and damages within limited autonomy.
• Assess and adjust claims involving injuries, learning to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic injury claims.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and identify potential property damage.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate customer service responses.
• Identify subrogation or fraud potential and determine appropriate actions.

• Individuals must hold an active insurance license and terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding.
• Resident producers must officially surrender their license as directed by the licensing team.
• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship of work visas is not provided.

• Auto and Bodily Injury Claims knowledge

Base salary ranges by level; example ranges:
Adjuster Analyst III $50,000–65,300;
Adjuster Cons I $53,500–77,800;
Adjuster Cons II $56,000–82,500;
Adjuster Sr. Cons I $68,500–104,100. Compensation may include incentive pay such as commission or bonus.
