Currently seeking a Recovery Adjuster who will review, analyze, and determine subrogation potential on assigned files for the timely and effective disposition of a variety of referred recovery claims. The Adjuster will assist in claim administration for timely recovery of loss payments from responsible and contributing parties under contractual and legal subrogation rights. Additionally, this role performs or assists with arbitration duties as needed.
The selected candidate will work from either the Sarasota, FL home office or our office in Lake Mary, FL.

The salary range for this position is $51,587-$79,442 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

* Associates degree or equivalent work experience, (Bachelor's degree preferred)
* All Lines Adjusting license in Florida (must be eligible for multi-line, multi-state licenses as needed.)
* Two years of commercial lines adjusting experience which has led to strong technical skills in recovery operations.
* Working knowledge of state laws, insurance coverage, policy interpretation, exposure recognition, and liability determination for all levels of the recovery claim.
* Working knowledge of subrogation techniques, including intercompany arbitration procedures.
* Understanding of Property and Casualty laws, liens, rules, case law and regulations.
* Understanding of Workers Compensation laws, casualty claim procedures, rules and systems and trust fund rules and regulations
* Good working knowledge of claim file management techniques and processes
