RCIS Seasonal Crop Adjuster; Wisconsin and Minnesota

Zurich is currently looking for an RCIS Seasonal Crop Adjuster to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. RCIS is one of the leading crop insurance providers in the U.S., offering protection in all 50 states through a network of over 3,600 licensed agents.

Zurich RCIS is seeking an RCIS Seasonal Crop Adjuster to work out of Wisconsin and Minnesota. The incumbent will work from a home-based office, scheduled with up to 30 flex hours, and is expected to travel up to 50% of the time to cover the territory.

The ideal candidate will need to live and service within a 50‑mile area of the following Wisconsin counties:
Polk, St. Croix, Barron, Dunn, Pierce, Pepin; and the following Minnesota counties:
Chisago, Washington.

• Complete field inspections and related responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos, measuring field and storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers.
• Perform fact finding regarding crop damage; record information and transmit loss information to accurately determine potential damages.
• Provide excellent service to our customers – both agents and policyholders (farmers).
• Utilize company software to electronically transmit claims information directly from the field to RCIS to ensure claims are processed timely and accurately.
• Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory.
• Valid Driver’s License.

  Physical Requirements:
  
  walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions.

• CAPP Certified.
• Knowledge in Crop Insurance.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred hourly rate range: $22.40-$30.87, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
