Job DescriptionAs an Auto Field Adjuster you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.
Location and RoleWe are seeking an experienced Auto Field Adjuster to join our field estimating team in the Lynwood Compton, California area! This is a field-based, territory-specific position covering areas such as South Gate, Watts and Downey, California among others. We are looking for a professional with experience in auto damage assessment, proficiency in CCC One estimating software, strong negotiation and time management skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
- Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
- Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
- Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
This job does not have supervisory duties.
As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation- Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 - 39.42/hour
- Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 - 45.58/hour
- Field Adjuster Sr. Cons II: $37.98 - 48.08/hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
