As a Field Property Adjuster, you provide exceptional service to our policyholders by traveling to homes to conduct inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates using Xactimate and other platforms, and settle claims efficiently. You will handle both on‑site and virtual claims nationwide, focusing particularly on water damage.
Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy and clarity.
- Investigate property claims independently, reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast and fair claims process.
- Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, and carriers, using appropriate tactics for challenging scenarios.
- Use tools and platforms to produce accurate estimates and maintain detailed documentation in the claims system.
- Act as recorder, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining clear records.
- Travel up to 90% of the time, including travel to multiple sites during the 10‑day rotation schedule.
During training, work Monday‑Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM. After training, the schedule is a 10‑day on, 4‑day off rotation, with shifts of 8–12hours per day. Working extra hours or on weekends/holidays may earn up to $175/day for over 8 hours and $200 on weekends/holidays.
TrainingAttend a two‑week in‑person training program in Dallas,TX. Ongoing on‑the‑job training is provided.
Qualifications- 2+ years experience writing water‑damage estimates (preferred).
- Previous property adjuster experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Xactimate.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills and a positive attitude toward challenges.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Physical ability to carry a 50‑pound ladder and work on roofs up to a 6/12 pitch.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; must reside within 50miles of an airport.
- Current active insurance license holders must terminate external appointments prior to onboarding.
- Adjusters holding a resident producer license must surrender that license as instructed.
Depending on the area, an adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required. Licenses must be obtained within 60days of hire, subject to background check approval.
CompensationAnnual base pay ranges from $52,800 to $117,700, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A $1,000 sign‑on bonus is available for candidates who hold the required active licenses.
