Commercial Lines Account Manager

Seasoned individuals with experience managing middle market accounts for real estate, manufacturing, lumber yards, and contractor accounts.

The job responsibilities include expertise in insurance coverages and needs of your accounts, discussing coverages with insureds, marketing new coverages, marketing renewals, and working with producers. Negotiating changes and renewal pricing with insurance company underwriters.

Daily tasks involve answering clients’ requests about coverages, policy forms and endorsements, claim concerns or issues. Attaching emails into the agency management system. Issuing proposals. Submitting applications to insurance carriers for renewal marketing in line with agency procedures. Working with producers on client questions and renewal collaboration.

The position requires an individual with strong marketing, communication, and customer service skills. The ability to work in Applied Epic. An understanding of policy billing and the ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets. The ability to handle issues with clients and find solutions.

The office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We allow occasional remote work with prior approval. In office attire is business casual.

Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
