Job DescriptionResponsible for investigating and confirming facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and negotiates claims within authority. Mentors and directs junior employees.
Key Responsibilities- Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle or other potential property damage
- Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for the most complex cases
- Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by company, industry, and organizational relationships
- Recommends process improvements
- Applies increased experience in the Sr Adjuster level or a rotation into a specialty position
- For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex/Catastrophic injury claims
- Handles investigation regarding all aspects of the most complex auto claims with discretion and independence within increased level of authority
- 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
This job does not have supervisory duties.
CompensationBase compensation offered for this role is:
Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500
Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 - $104,100
Adjuster Sr Cons II: $68,500 - $105,140
Base compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable.
Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse. Employees eligible to work from home receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs. Working from home requires a dedicated private workspace and reliable internet.
