Job Description
Allstate’s inside Property Adjuster role is a hybrid position at the Greenwood Village Office. The role involves virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately while providing exceptional service to policyholders.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Expert – follow Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring, and act with empathy.
- Investigator – independently investigate property claims, review damage, and interpret policies to determine coverage.
- Effective Communicator – use phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair, and easy claims process, adapting to their preferred communication channel.
- Negotiator – evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, carriers and claimants following legal and business standards.
- Problem Solver – use tools such as Xactimate, ClaimsX, and other platforms to resolve claims efficiently.
- Recorder – document all work in the claims system and maintain accurate records.
- Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm with rotating Saturday duty.
- Work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- In‑office work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Previous industry experience is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and other virtual assessment software.
- Ability to assess property damages and determine claim coverage accurately.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for remote interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual environment.
- Detail‑oriented and organized.
- The program provides a foundation in claims, systems, and processes.
- Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement are available.
Depending on your office/area, you may need an adjuster and/or appraiser license. You must obtain the required license(s) within 60 days of hire. The hiring manager and licensing team will assist you.
Sign‑On BonusEligible for a $1,000 licensing sign‑on bonus if you hold the required active license(s). Previous Allstate employees are not eligible.

CompensationBase compensation: $47,500 – 60,320 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
