Job Overview
This is the intermediate level of the claim handler career path. Handles moderate difficult claims. Exercises progressively more discretion in the determination of compensability of claims.
Location:
Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home)
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 yearly.
Primary Responsibilities- Assigned to Workers' Compensation claims, responsible for prompt and independent review of insurance claims through effective research, evaluation, investigation, and negotiation.
- Review and adjudicate claims submitted for reimbursement that fall outside auto adjudication standards on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with quality and productivity standards.
- Investigate and resolve claims promptly, equitably, and in accordance with established best practices.
Experience in Workers' Compensation claims handling, including jurisdictional experience in NV and relevant adjuster licenses.
