Job Overview

Marketing Account Executive (Work Comp) – Strategic Comp, a division of Great American Insurance Group. Remote work with up to 60% travel and overnight travel required. Company car provided.

• Communicate and manage relationships with agents, underwriting department, and Account Executives.
• Act as front‑line underwriter for new business and renewal work‑comp accounts.
• Gather additional data and present accounts to Underwriting Department with strategy to secure orders.
• Market products and services through the independent agency system in the Pacific Northwest territory (Fresno, Oregon, Northern CA, Washington).
• Achieve renewal retention greater than 90% and drive profitable new business growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of production underwriting or marketing commercial insurance experience, preferably workers’ compensation.
• Strong understanding of the Independent Agent system and relationships with key agencies in the territory.
• Excellent group presentation and one‑to‑one communication skills.
• Knowledge of underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must reside in San Francisco, Sacramento, or the East Bay Area. The role is remote but requires up to 60% travel, including overnight stays.

• Salary: $120,000–$165,000.
