Position Summary:
As the Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact for the company's clients, producers, and personnel. Your role will involve providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service while maintaining and expanding the company’s commercial accounts. With a focus on both new and renewal business, you’ll need a thorough understanding of commercial insurance policies and coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle service requests and answer incoming client calls.
- Review and manage open activities and email correspondence daily.
- Process endorsement and change requests with precision.
- Maintain and manage claims, billings, and certificates of insurance.
- Assist clients with cancellation notices and coverage inquiries.
- Regularly report on the status of accounts, renewal cycles, and tasks.
- Produce certificates of insurance and generate referrals when possible.
- Review and assist with audits, including resolving disputed audits with carriers.
- Document detailed correspondence in the Applied EPIC operating system.
- Ensure regular and timely attendance as an essential job requirement.
Qualifications:
- License: Texas Property & Casualty Insurance license is a strong plus.
- Experience: At least 4+ years of commercial lines experience.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with the Applied EPIC operating system is a must. - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational
Skills:
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities. - Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of insurance policies, customer service, and related software.
