Job Overview

• Investigate and confirm facts of complex automobile accidents.
• Determine coverage, liability, and damages; adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits.
• Mentor junior employees.
• Identify subrogation or fraud potential and decide how to handle complex cases.
• Apply advanced knowledge of company and industry insurance policies.
• Conduct investigations for all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence.
• Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex bodily injury claims when applicable.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage.
• Identify customer needs and use customer‑service skills to meet those needs.

This role does not involve supervisory duties.

Base compensation ranges:

• BI Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 – $86,400
• BI Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 – $93,250
• BI Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 – $117,700
