Job Overview

Key Responsibilities- Investigate and confirm facts of complex automobile accidents.
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages; adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits.
- Mentor junior employees.
- Identify subrogation or fraud potential and decide how to handle complex cases.
- Apply advanced knowledge of company and industry insurance policies.
- Conduct investigations for all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex bodily injury claims when applicable.
- Recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage.
- Identify customer needs and use customer‑service skills to meet those needs.
This role does not involve supervisory duties.
CompensationBase compensation ranges:
- BI Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 – $86,400
- BI Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 – $93,250
- BI Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 – $117,700
