Role Summary
Analyze New York Lost‑Time Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due while ensuring ongoing adjudication within service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service requirements.
Office Location / ScheduleSyracuse, NY – Hybrid schedule: 2 days in‑office / 3 days work from home (37.5‑hour work week). Open to remote if outside commutable distance.
Primary Purpose of the RoleWe are looking for driven individuals who embody our caring counts model and core values – empathy, accountability, collaboration, growth, and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Analyze and process claims through well‑developed action plans to achieve a timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
- Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests of directions in a professional and timely manner.
- Minimum of 2years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. - Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred.
- NY licensing required (NY).

Starting pay range: $80,000 – $90,000.
