Preferred Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at a retail brokerage
• Experience with real estate accounts is a plus!
• Active Property & Casualty license
• Proficiency with Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Outlook, carrier websites, and other software systems as needed for the position

The Position:

• Create positive relationships with carriers and clients
• In-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures
• Ability to effectively assess risk
• Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
• Respond to all inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters
• Prepare the applications for submission with underwriting information provided by the producer
• Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive
