• Thoroughly undewrite commercial and personal lines of business
• Inspect personal and commercial risks for hazards and determine acceptability
• Assist the independent Contractor Agents on risks tha are outside of their binding authority.
• Pjysically inpsect, analyze and evaluate property for value, condition and exposure purposes.
• Underwrite, renew, rate various lines of business.
• Participate in various daily inspections, roof inspections, special projects inspection programs.
• Frequently accompany Agents on insured appointments to assist in evaluating and identifying exposures.
• Assume duties as Roving Field Underwriter to assist with daily and overflow inspeciton workload.
• Learn duties and responsibilites of Field Underwriter through on-the-job training in office and in the field.
• Depict findings in photography and complete reports of discovery form inspections.
• Become well acquaintedwith underwriting manual.
