Comptech Associates in Portland, OR, seeks a Claims Examiner/ Claims Specialist for a 3‑month contract to hire. The role starts in office, with a plan to move to a hybrid schedule (3 in office, 2 work from home; Tue–Thu in office, Mon/Fri WFH). 8:00am–4:30pm PCT with a one‑half hour lunch room.
Responsibilities include reviewing claim information, interviewing claimants and witnesses, evaluating liability, and preparing reports and settlements. Strong communication and independence are important.
