- A-rated regional carrier is looking for the next production underwriter to join their team. 5+ years of commercial multi-line underwriting experience is a must. Primary functions focus on growing premium and policy count. If you work inside now but want to get out, they will consider you; they would also love a person already in the field. They truly want you to be a field underwriter.
- Develop and cultivate a new business pipeline of profitable risks for each agency and producer to be reviewed and quoted. Primary decision-maker for setting premiums on new business opportunities. Meet with agents to discuss their needs and tell them about your products, which are mid-market commercial lines. Work closely with marketing and claims staff and agent contacts. Evaluate risks and recommend risk improvements.
