Role Description

As an Insurance Agent at Richard Ayala Insurance Agency, you will support clients by assessing their coverage needs, explaining policy options, and recommending suitable insurance solutions. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients in person and virtually, preparing quotes, processing applications, and following up on renewals and policy changes. You will maintain accurate records, handle client inquiries, collaborate with underwriters and carriers, and contribute to business growth through proactive outreach and referrals.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Humble, TX, with a mix of in-office work and approved work-from-home arrangements.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Insurance Sales and Insurance products.
  • Background in Insurance Brokerage and familiarity with various carriers and policy types.
  • Understanding of Finance principles related to premiums, deductibles, and risk management.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication.
  • State insurance license (or eligibility to obtain) and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
  • Comfort with basic office software, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
  • Prior experience in an agency or financial services setting is preferred but not required.
