Role Description The Commercial Lines Account Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Scottsdale, AZ, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Account Manager services and manages a portfolio of commercial lines clients, including policy maintenance, renewals, endorsements, and coverage reviews. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, providing coverage guidance, coordinating with carriers, processing policy changes, and resolving service issues in a timely and professional manner.
The role also involves preparing proposals, supporting producers with new business opportunities, monitoring account performance, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency management systems. The Account Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to deliver a high level of customer service, maintain strong client relationships, and support agency growth.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage and insurance products, with the ability to explain options and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated account management experience, including managing renewals, policy changes, and ongoing client relationships.
- Proven customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and clear communication.
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and standard office software (e.g., CRM tools, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting, adhering to company policies and performance expectations.
- Prior experience in commercial insurance or a related field; relevant licenses (such as Property & Casualty) or willingness to obtain them as required by state regulations.
