The Employee Benefits Client Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Milwaukee area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role manages a portfolio of employee benefits clients, serving as a primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs and strategic guidance. Responsibilities include consulting on plan design, coordinating renewals, preparing and presenting proposals, and supporting client decision-making around benefits programs.
The Client Executive collaborates with internal teams and carrier partners to resolve issues, analyze claims and utilization data, and ensure accurate implementation of benefit plans. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to proactively advise clients and support business growth.
- Strong client relationship management and consulting skills, with the ability to communicate complex benefits information clearly and professionally.
- Experience in employee benefits, insurance, or related fields, including familiarity with health, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefit programs.
- Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and use of spreadsheets or benefits-related software to support client recommendations and renewals.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple client accounts, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements (such as ACA, ERISA, COBRA), or willingness to quickly develop this expertise.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with internal teams, carrier partners, and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to client service and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) and ongoing commitment to professional development.
