Our client, an established property and casualty insurance organization, has an immediate need for a Regional Underwriting Manager to join their team in Spokane, WA. This hybrid leadership role oversees a team of commercial lines underwriters and is responsible for underwriting operations, compliance, production, technical underwriting, and regional business strategy.

• Manage a regional commercial lines underwriting team with 5 direct reports.
• Oversee underwriting compliance, underwriting integrity, service standards, and production.
• Provide technical underwriting review, mentoring, assistance, and training to commercial lines underwriters.
• Support the interpretation and application of underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Review and underwrite complex commercial risks as needed, including property, general liability, commercial auto, and agriculture-related risks.
• Assist in developing regional business strategy, underwriting metrics, and production objectives.
• Evaluate products and services that support the regional territory and commercial insurance portfolio.

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in commercial/agriculture, general liability, property, and auto.
• Experience managing or leading commercial lines underwriting operations.
• Experience with commercial property, general liability, commercial auto, and agriculture underwriting.

Base salary in the 120k - 200k/year range plus profit sharing, bonus & salary increases.
