Senior Personal Lines Account Manager

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will bring strong personal lines insurance expertise, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability tomentor junior team members while helping drive client retention and satisfaction.

• Base salary: $50,000 - $60,000
• Eligible for monthly variable compensation based on performance

• Serveas the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal lines clients.
• Conduct policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage solutions based onclient needs.
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Partner with insurance carriers and clients to support the claims process and provide ongoing guidance.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts through consultative conversations.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior account managers and new team members.
• Stay current on industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory requirements.

• An Active Property & Casualty License required;
  Virginia license required within a specified period if currently licensed in another state.
• Minimumof 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products, including homeowners, auto, renters,and umbrella coverage.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with insurance agency management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex or high-value personal lines accounts.
• Previous mentoring or leadership experience within an insurance agency environment.
