Join a Great Team. Build Your Career. Make a Difference.

Heritage Insurance is part of

, a growing family of insurance companies with a shared commitment to protecting the communities we serve. As a
super-regional coastal property & casualty insurer
, we understand the unique challenges faced by homeowners and businesses in coastal markets—and we’re proud to be there when our policyholders need us most.

We believe great insurance starts with great people. Our culture is collaborative, customer-focused, and built around doing the right thing for our policyholders and each other. We offer

About the Role

As a Field Adjuster, you’ll be responsible for handling
moderate-complexity, first-party property claims that require on-site inspections and hands-on expertise. You’ll investigate losses, assess damage, prepare estimates, evaluate coverage, and negotiate fair and appropriate settlements.

territory-based, fully remote position

This position does not report to or require regular work from a Heritage office.

This is a highly visible, field-facing role. You’ll interact directly with customers and industry professionals—often helping people navigate the claims process during some of the most stressful moments in their lives.

The ideal candidate brings strong property claims experience, sound technical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while remaining a trusted representative of Heritage.

claims estimating tools and technology to prepare, review, and validate estimates.
  • Partner with internal specialists, including
    Subrogation and Fire/Fraud Investigations
    , when appropriate.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely claim documentation and activity notes in accordance with company standards.
