Position Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Vice-President (AVP), Special Investigations Unit (“SIU”), to lead Crum & Forster’s investigatory and anti-fraud program across a diversified specialty product portfolio covering all insurance lines of business.

What you will do:

• This role will lead an established SIU organization of approximately fifteen professionals, including SIU Managers, SIU Investigators and SIU Analysts. The Assistant Vice-President will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight and continuous improvement of Crum & Forster’s investigative practices, anti-fraud plan and anti-fraud governance. The Assistant Vice-President will oversee investigatory initiatives across multiple business units operating independently within the enterprise.
• Working closely with Claims, Underwriting, Premium Audit, Premium Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Audit and senior leadership, the Assistant Vice-President will ensure SIU operations are timely, compliant, effective and aligned with business priorities. This includes oversight of suspicious claims, policies, applications and other insurance transactions, while maintaining a strong focus on investigative quality, service standards, regulatory reporting, fraud trend identification and operational excellence.
• The Assistant Vice-President will also oversee SIU quality assurance, training, workload management, vendor governance and external agency coordination. This role serves as a key liaison with departments of insurance, fraud bureaus, law enforcement, prosecutors and industry anti-fraud organizations, while helping position SIU as a trusted business partner across the enterprise.
