Afghan Language Services (ALS) is seeking highly skilled and culturally fluent freelance interpreters to join our global network. This hybrid role involves both remote and in‑person assignments on a project‑based contract, with compensation varying based on project, industry, and language. The ideal candidate will be a native‑led language specialist with exceptional communication skills, committed to accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and strict confidentiality.

You will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps for Afghan communities across diverse and impactful projects in the U.S. and beyond.

• Prior experience or certifications in specialized fields such as legal (Court‑approved interpreter), medical (HIPAA training), or academic interpretation.
• Proven experience in a professional interpretation role.
• Adaptability to varied project sites and short‑notice assignments.
