Hmong: US- Interpreter

We are hiring US-based interpreters!

Position Overview:

As a remote interpreter, you will facilitate communication between Hmong and English speakers. The role requires processing information quickly and accurately in a professional environment. A quiet and secure workspace is essential, with note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries as useful tools.

Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or MacOS

Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency/bilingual/native level in English and target language
• 1+ years interpreting experience (preferred)
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills
