Project Coordinator

Job Title:

Project Coordinator. Lake Oswego, OR.

This position involves providing industry‑leading customer service and innovative solutions to our customers and manufacturer representatives. The role requires a fundamental understanding of the lighting supply chain and the ability to handle quotations and processed orders independently.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations and processed orders with minimal supervision.
  • Foster positive and attentive interactions internally and externally, taking complete ownership of projects to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Handle entry‑level technical calls within the network.
  • Read and interpret detailed, complex drawings and provide accurate take‑offs based on these drawings.
  • Quote and coordinate sample opportunities with representatives to secure specifications on projects.
  • Maintain required volume of quotes and orders processed for workload.
  • Actively maintain project follow‑ups in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate and execute sales marketing campaigns, specifically through phone calls to representatives.
  • Attend regular product‑specific training sessions to expand knowledge on customers and products.
  • Begin training on competing companies and their products, as well as more complex technical aspects of products.
  • Train and perform product technical support and procedures pertaining to intermediate tech calls from installers.
  • Familiarize with key industry terms and project flow.
  • Investigate and become familiar with key customers in the network.
  • Participate in department and company feedback opportunities and team meetings.
Essential Skills
  • 1-3 years of lighting inside sales experience.
  • 3 years of inside sales experience across all communication platforms.
  • 3 years of customer‑facing experience across all communication platforms.
  • Proficiency in Miro, Quick Books, Salesforce, G‑Suite, Vizio, Microsoft 365, Lucidchart, , and Smartsheet.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bluebeam proficiency is a bonus.
  • 1 year of customer‑facing experience across all communication platforms.
  • General LED lighting/construction knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to communicate at a high level and prioritize customer needs.
Work Environment

This position requires working onsite from 8AM to 5PM or 7AM to 4PM, with occasional overtime to ensure project completion. After one year of employment, employees are eligible for one day of remote work or a flexible schedule. The office offers a casual work environment with jeans being acceptable attire. The atmosphere is team‑oriented, supportive, and friendly, with a dog‑friendly policy requiring approval.

The office is well‑lit, heated, air‑conditioned, and ventilated, providing a fun and engaging work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Oswego, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $34.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
