Description
TELUS Digital is looking for a Norwegian speaker for our Language Specialist AI team in Finland. This is a fully remote junior position with a fixed-term contract of 2-3 months' duration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review and validation of machine learning translation corpora
- Rating
- Translation
- Annotation
- Ad hoc linguistic tasks
- Full professional proficiency (C2 level), including major regional and linguistic variants
- Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the target language (e.g. grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)
- Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts
- Proven experience in annotation, translation, localization, linguistic QA, rating
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in native language as well as in English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with confidence and little oversight
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex guidelines accurately
- Grasping technical concepts and learning new tools
- Formal academic linguistic education is a plus
- Fully remote job opportunity (work from home)
- Minimum guaranteed hours 20h/week, work will most likely be full-time. Your full-time commitment is required
