Language Interpreter Position- Work From Home

Job Overview

We are seeking professional language interpreters for remote positions. These roles require a strong command of English and fluency in one of the following native languages:

• Laotian: 10 Positions
• Karen: 5 Positions
• Hmong: 5 Positions
• Khmer: 5 Positions

• Period: 1-year contract (renewable annually)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (permanent night shift)
• Location: Work from home

• Excellent English and fluency in the native language (reading and writing).
• Clear speech with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
• Must be available for a 9-hour shift between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM (Malaysia Time).
• Stable home internet:
  Minimum 10MB download and 5MB upload speed.
• Required Devices: iOS 15+ (iPhone) or OS 12+ (Android).
  
  Note:
  
  Huawei and Samsung A-series are not supported. iPads and tablets are not permitted during training.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Salary: RM 30 per hour (approx. RM 4,800/month).
• Leave: 12 days annual leave, medical leave, and hospitalization leave.
• Schedule: 2 rotating days off per week.
• Holidays: Public holidays and off days aligned with the served country (US and Malaysia).
• Paid replacement leaves.

• Answer calls promptly and interpret in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render accurate meanings following established interpretation protocols without omissions or additions.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and availability during scheduled hours.
• Adhere strictly to client instructions and protocols when assisting Limited English-speaking Persons (LEP).
• Focus exclusively on interpretation between English and the native language.
