Customer Service Engineer Gc/Gcms

To strengthen our dynamic and friendly team, we are looking for you for the greater Freiburg/Karlsruhe/Mannheim/Stuttgart area as a customer service engineer in the GC/GCMS area (m/f/d).
You will support our customers on site from the areas of pharmaceuticals, energy, research and development, environmental and biomedical analytics.
What you can expect in this position:
- As a customer service engineer, you represent Agilent at our customers and install, qualify, maintain, and repair GC/GCMS systems. Additionally, you train users in the effective use of the systems
- Based on your existing and continuously developed technical and application skills at Agilent, you support our customers and contribute to their success
- In complex projects around hardware and software solutions, you work solution-oriented and proactively advise customers to ensure the most efficient use of the systems
- In close exchange with internal departments such as application support, development, and sales, you develop new solutions for our customers together in the team. Regular high-quality training ensures that you are always up to date with the latest hardware and software products
Qualifications:
- Completed studies or training in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, geosciences, medical technology, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable field related to analytical chemistry
- Practical experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry systems and confident handling of associated hardware and software, ideally including method development and work in an analytical laboratory
- Proficient skills in error analysis, troubleshooting, and enjoyment in performing simple and complex repairs
- Ability to develop creative and practical solutions for complex technical issues together with customers and secure communication of complex content in German and English
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style with high reliability, team and customer orientation; willingness to travel, work from home, work in radiation protection areas, and residence in the Karlsruhe/Mannheim/Stuttgart area or willingness to relocate and valid driver's license

This job has a full-time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
