Bilingual --Phone Interpreter; English-Spanish Ecuador

Interpreter Position

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled interpreter to join our client's team. In this role, you will contribute to providing consecutive bidirectional interpretation, accurately conveying important information between English and Spanish speakers. This role provides a strong foundation in interpretation and offers progression opportunities into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), allowing you to expand your skill set and enhance communication through visual interaction.

• Provide consecutive interpretation services (English ⇄ Spanish)
• Accurately convey meaning, tone, intent, and context
• Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality
• Adhere to applicable ethics and standards

• Bilingual English-Spanish proficiency (B2/C1 level)
• Tablet or Computer
• Stable and high-speed internet connection
• Strong communication and active listening skills

• Experience in interpretation or translation services
• Familiarity with interpretation protocols and standards

• 100% remote position
• Paid initial training (3 weeks, 7.5 hours per day)
