As an EPIC Apprentice Analyst, you'll support healthcare organizations across the country while developing in-demand skills that help improve patient care and expand access to healthcare in rural and underserved communities.

Compensation
At OCHIN, we're committed to pay transparency.
Starting salary for this apprenticeship program is:
$49,939 annually for candidates without an EPIC credential
$59,927 annually for candidates with a qualifying EPIC credential
These salaries are non-negotiable and consistently applied to ensure equitable compensation practices.
EPIC experience is not required. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced mentors, you'll learn how healthcare technology supports providers, staff, and patients while building skills that can create long-term career opportunities.
Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting users with questions and issues related to EPIC applications and other technology solutions
* Researching and troubleshooting system issues
* Assisting with system configuration, maintenance, and testing
* Learning healthcare workflows and identifying solutions that improve the user experience
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Documenting processes, workflows, and technical solutions
* Participating in training, certification preparation, and professional development activities
* Delivering exceptional customer service to healthcare organizations and end users

Helpful experience may include healthcare, dental, customer service, technology, operations, data analysis, EHR systems, or EPIC applications but none are required.
We know great talent comes from many different backgrounds, and previous analyst experience is not required for success in this role.
Training & Career Growth
This apprenticeship is designed to help you build specialized healthcare technology skills through structured learning, hands-on experience, mentorship, and EPIC training opportunities.
Many apprentices complete the program in approximately 12 months and continue growing into advanced healthcare technology careers with increasing responsibility and earning potential.
Hiring Process
Before moving forward to the interview stage, candidates will complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment helps us better understand your strengths, preferences, and work style and is one of several tools used during the selection process.

* This position requires employees to work remotely from a home office environment and participate in virtual meetings using video conferencing technology.
* Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.
