Note:

This is a contractor position, not a full-time employee role. This is NOT a remote/work‑from‑home position—you’ll be working in laundromats, engaging face‑to‑face with families. Weekend availability is required!

Founded in 2021, Fabric Health is transforming how families access healthcare and public benefits — by meeting them in laundromats. Millions of families spend hours each week waiting for laundry to finish. We use that time to build trust, answer questions, and connect people with the health coverage and support they deserve.

As an Outreach Associate, you’ll be the friendly face families trust, working in Baltimore laundromats to start conversations, answer questions, and help them apply for critical public benefits like Medicaid and SNAP. You’ll use your people skills to build real relationships and have a direct impact in your community.

This role operates on a flexible shift model. You’ll claim available 4‑hour shifts posted weekly in our scheduling system. Work is available Friday through Monday, with up to 32 hours per week.

• Willingness to work in‑person in laundromats (no laundry required)
• Reliable transportation to and between laundromat locations
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must work at least 3 shifts per week (12 hours minimum), Friday–Monday only
• Weekend availability is required
• Background checks are conducted as part of the hiring process and/or at any time during contracting.

• Bilingual (especially in Spanish)
• Familiarity with public benefits or social service programs
